What time do you go to bed and wake up currently?
Since I started sleeping at 10:30 PM and waking up at 7:00 AM, everything changed — especially the way I code.
For a long time, I believed in “pushing through.”
Late nights, multiple tabs, and endless to-do lists felt like the only way to keep up. But somewhere along the way, I realized something wasn’t working. I was staying up late but making more mistakes. I’d start a blog, open VS Code, and before I knew it, I was mindlessly scrolling through tabs or getting stuck on bugs I should’ve been able to solve.
So, I made a small but powerful shift:
Prioritizing sleep.
I began sleeping at 10:30 PM and waking up around 7:00 AM — and the results? Immediate.
My coding sessions became clearer, my writing more thoughtful, and my learning more effective. I didn’t have to reread the same paragraph ten times or fix the same bug for hours. I could sit down with a fresh mind and actually think.
A rested mind = better code. Better focus. Better problem-solving.
Whether I’m blogging, debugging, or diving into a new JavaScript concept, this routine helps me stay sharp and consistent. It turns out sleep isn’t a break from progress — it’s a part of it.
We often glorify hustle culture, thinking the more we sacrifice, the more we grow. But productivity isn’t about staying busy — it’s about working smart. And the smartest decision I made was letting myself rest.
Sleep restores creativity.
It boosts memory.
It sharpens focus.
And for me, it brought back the joy of learning — without the burnout.
So, if you’re juggling coding, blogging, or any kind of self-learning journey, don’t underestimate sleep.
✨ It might just be your secret productivity hack.
Because when you take care of your mind, your goals get a little closer.
One rested morning at a time.
