What’s your go-to comfort food?
Everyone has that one dish that feels like home. That one thing you reach for when the world feels too loud, your heart feels heavy, or the rain just won’t stop pouring.
For me, it’s Maggi.
Not the fancy version. Not loaded with toppings or twisted into some gourmet noodle bowl. Just hot, soupy, spicy Maggi — the kind that fogs up your glasses and warms your soul. The kind you can make half-asleep, with one hand, while listening to old songs playing in the background.
Maggi reminds me of so many things.
Of school days, when it was the after-homework reward. Of hostel life, where it was the midnight meal shared over stories, secrets, and laughter. Of quiet evenings when everything felt too much — and a bowl of noodles felt like the only thing that made sense.
It’s not just the taste. It’s the comfort. The simplicity. The memories.
It doesn’t judge if I’m in pajamas at 3 p.m. It doesn’t ask me to have it all figured out. It just sits there in a bowl, spicy and warm, telling me, “You’re doing okay.”

So, what’s your comfort food?
Is it chai with buttered toast? Khichdi with ghee? A slice of childhood cake or your mom’s dal-chawal?
Whatever it is, I hope you find time for it today. You deserve that little pocket of comfort — that bite of peace.
