CodeWithKriti: Beyond Coding – Building Skills & Perspectives

What change, big or small, would you like your blog to make in the world?

When people hear CodeWithKriti, they might assume it’s just a blog for someone learning to code. But in today’s world, coding alone cannot meet the needs of the corporate world. Businesses are looking for candidates who also bring business acumen, awareness, and the ability to connect the dots between technology and reality.

As an MBA student, I prepare myself not only through coding projects but also by reading news, writing geopolitical analysis, and reflecting on how different events shape industries. I want my readers to learn from my experiences and thoughts, because CodeWithKriti is not just about the code I write — it’s about coding my life in a meaningful direction.

On a small scale, I hope my posts spark curiosity, encourage people to read and learn more, and remind them to make time for themselves. I want my writing to leave them a little more aware, with questions buzzing in their minds and new perspectives to explore.

On a bigger scale, I want to help people think from different directions. Yesterday, for example, we discussed a marketing analytics case study on whether Uber should relaunch Uber Eats. Most ideas focused on ride details, payment history, and geospatial marketing. But I noticed something basic yet overlooked — demographic data. By analyzing income patterns and age, Uber could tailor product suggestions to different lifestyles. That insight only came after listening to others and deliberately shifting my perspective.

If someone follows my blog for a year, I don’t just want them to be better at coding — I want them to have richer thoughts, sharper perspectives, and a deeper understanding of current affairs. CodeWithKriti is about creating professionals who can navigate both the digital world and the real world with equal confidence.
