Reflections on The Bengal Files

Watching The Bengal Files in the theater was a shocking experience. While certain parts felt a little exaggerated, the facts presented were true — and what struck me most was the realization that these events actually happened in history.

One scene that will stay with me for a long time is when Bharti, with a knife in her hand, poses as Maa Durga. It was powerful, symbolic, and unsettling at the same time.

The biggest takeaway for me was clear: it is always the common people who end up paying the price for hate politics. History carries important lessons, and unless we remind ourselves of them, we risk repeating the same mistakes again.

Films like The Bengal Files are important for today’s generation. They remind us not to be easily influenced by leaders or anyone who thrives on hate politics. The youth must learn to question, reflect, and stand for unity instead of division.
