For a long time, I believed that consistency was proof of success. So when I stopped blogging on CodeWithKriti, I assumed I had failed.
The pause came after I didn’t clear one of the job interviews I appeared for. I had been putting in effort—learning, practicing, writing—but the results didn’t reflect it. Slowly, I started believing that blogging wasn’t working for me. If it didn’t help me crack interviews, what was the point?
Over time, blogging stopped feeling like therapy or self-expression. It began to feel like an assignment—something I was supposed to do. That pressure made me step back.
So I paused.
Not because I stopped learning, but because I needed redirection.
During this phase, I shifted my focus from hard skills to soft skills. I worked on interview preparation, communication clarity, and self-awareness. Even though the blog was silent, growth was happening quietly.
That phase paid off. In January, I got placed at ADP India, and I’ll be stepping into a project management role—a role that values clarity, communication, and perspective just as much as technical knowledge.
Looking back, I realize I’m not the same person who stopped writing.
Going forward, CodeWithKriti will focus on Tech + Career Clarity.
This space will talk about technology in context—alongside career confusion, redirection, and growth. It’s about understanding where tech fits into the larger picture of building a meaningful career.
This blog is for people in the early stages of their careers who feel confused or unsure. Being confused is normal. Clarity doesn’t come instantly, but it does come when you work in the right direction.
I didn’t pause because I failed.
I paused because I was evolving—and this space is evolving with me.
