The Game That Defined My School Days

What’s your favorite game (card, board, video, etc.)? Why?

I still remember the first time I downloaded Subway Surfers. I was in 9th standard — looking for something fun to pass the time. The colorful graphics, catchy music, and smooth gameplay instantly pulled me in. What started as a casual download quickly turned into hours of carefree joy.

Even today, I find myself opening the game now and then. Though I don’t play for hours anymore, it brings back a sense of nostalgia — a reminder of simpler times when running through virtual train tracks felt like the best escape. I miss that unbothered version of myself, just tapping away without a care in the world.

What makes Subway Surfers special for me is the way its locations keep changing. Each update introduces a new city with beautiful designs — almost like a digital world tour. That attention to visual detail is something I’ve always admired.

And it’s not just fun — it has actually helped me improve my focus and reflexes over time. Dodging trains and collecting coins might seem simple, but it teaches you rhythm and sharp attention.

If I could suggest one feature, I’d love to see a Zen Mode — no obstacles, no goals, just endless running through stunning scenery. A calm escape, perfect for unwinding.

I think the reason Subway Surfers has stayed popular for so long is because it’s simple, addictive, and visually catchy. For me, it’s also personal — a game that’s grown with me, reminding me of my younger self every time I play.
